Elegant Staunton Harold wedding photographer

Jen and Oliver got married at the Staunton Harold Hall in Leicestershire this summer. The Hall is a traditional estate in Leicestershire country perfect for an elegant wedding ceremony.

I met Jen at the Staunton Harold Hall the day before their wedding. She shared with me her excitement about the upcoming ceremony and we explored the beautiful garden around the venue.

Getting ready

On their wedding day, I started at the couple’s home in the Derbyshire country. Jen got ready with her mum and bridesmaids. The atmosphere was very quiet and intimate. Everyone was quiet and focused that Jane had everything she needed. Just before Jen put her wedding dress on she received a beautiful gift box from Oliver with the letter. She read it with the tears in her eyes. Jen found inside lovely diamonds earrings dedicated for her to wear them on their wedding day.

The wedding dress

Jen wore an amazing Mori Lee wedding dress. This chick elegant A-line dress was made of soft satin and had some pockets. The bridesmaid’s dresses where the same cream colour and they matched the wedding dress. All the girls looked very elegant. I loved their chick look so much.

The wedding ceremony

The ceremony took place in a beautiful church in Melbourne. When Jen walked down the aisle Oliver went very emotional. He was touched by how lovely she looked. He was waiting for this moment for so long, he said.

Wedding reception

After the ceremony, we drove to the Staunton Harold Estate for the reception. The guest toasted the wedding with a little champagne and spent some quality time together. Everyone loved the hot sunny weather and enjoyed drinks in the garden. The children jumped on the bounce castle, enjoyed the garden games and eat ice creams.

In the evening when the sunset was getting close we drove up on the hills to take some portraits. That time when I walk away with my couples from the wedding guest is always dedicated to them. It’s a time when they can share some intimacy while I’m taking the opportunity and capture their emotions. The golden hour warm light is my favourite one and as always I went very enthusiastic about having it. Jen and Oliver spent some time together away from wedding noise and business. That was my favourite part of their wedding day.
