Kirtlington Park wedding photography Oxford
When Victoria and Andrew first got in touch with me about their Kirtlington Park wedding photography Oxford, I was very happy. I never worked at this breathtaking Palladian mansion before. However, I was super excited to take some gorgeous portraits in its stunning gardens. They were planning the most romantic wedding with a humanist ceremony, a live band and even a homemade cocktail bar. Victoria and Andrew are the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
Kirtlington Park wedding
I began the morning at Kirtlington Park, where the bride and her friends were getting ready together. It was so relaxed because everyone was in a good mood. Meanwhile, Victoria was doing her makeup all of her brides arrived and started getting ready with the bride. Victoria’s bride of honour was her sister, Jen. She was there for the bride all the time and helped her with her makeup and hair. The bride shared all the funnies story from her childhood about school trips and the birthday’s parties. I felt very honoured to share that special time with Victoria and her friends.
In addition, the couple had a traditional Greek blessing as Andrew’s parents originally come from Grece.
With a spacious Bridal Suite, that’s yours to get ready in, stunning function rooms and first-class catering, Kirtlington Park is one of the finest country house wedding venues in Oxfordshire. Your wedding day here will be everything you’ve dreamed of and more.
Oxfordshire wedding venue
Located close to Oxford and Blenheim Palace, Kirtlington Park is a breathtaking Palladian mansion set in stunning gardens and Capability Brown designed parkland. Our fabulous State Rooms, grounds and gardens make the perfect setting for celebrations and romantic and elegant wedding portraits. The House has been redecorated in 2018 and the elegance and beauty of The Classical Era have been restored to its former glory. Kirtlington Park provides clients with the infrastructure and environment in which they can design and customise a unique event.
Kirtlington Park was built with entertaining in mind, and the owners continue this tradition. The unique rooms and all the infrastructure allows the couples to design and customise the most exceptional event. Victoria and Andrew are in love with the English countryside. So the most important for them was that the venue is set in the middle of hudge and amazing gardens in the Oxfordshire country.

The wedding reception took place at the main hall of the venue, which was decorated with fresh flowers and candles. It was gorgeous.
It was a bright and sunny day, which was lovely. While the guests enjoyed canapes and cocktails, we wandered around the venue doing fun and creative portraits. My favourite photo from the afternoon is one when Victoria and Andrew are kissing in this gorgeous warm golden hour light.
The wedding party
The wedding took place at Kirtlington Park and was a traditional ceremony in the main room of the town hall. They had personal vows they wrote themselves, which brought pretty much everyone to tears. After the ceremony, they walked down the aisle together and were showered with colourful confetti, and then everyone headed to the bar.
During the reception, they had a live band, which made the reception chilled. For dinner, they had roast lamb, and it was delicious. After dinner there were a few speeches, then the couple hit the dancefloor and they went straight into the first dance. They also had a glitter bar, which kept everyone entertained.
The sunset wedding portraits
In the evening we went on the field to take some wedding portraits. The sun was just about to hide under the horizon and the warm light of the Sunset was just magical.
An evening party
The night party took place at the Saloon that with its huge dance floor and high ceilings, it’s the perfect place to party and dance the night away. Victoria and Andrew had the most amazing party. There was not only the live band but also a violinist who provided classic Greek music for traditional Greek dancing.
Kirtlington Park in Oxford is certainly perfect for spectacular wedding receptions. For example with glorious grounds to explore and a selection of State Rooms, you have the freedom to create your perfect day. In other words, it’s beautiful, romantic, elegant and has so much to offer.
