When Beccy and Paul first got in touch with me about their intimate wedding at Millbridge Court, I was so thrilled – they were planning the most relaxed and romantic wedding with an intimate gathering, a live band and even a homemade bar. Beccy and Paul seemed like the nicest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

Getting ready at Millbridge Court

I started shooting at Millbridge Court, where the bride and her friends had their first look, and it was really exciting because everyone was in a good mood. Beccy wore Suzanne Neville silk dress and Paul wore a classic wedding suit and they looked so beautiful.

The wedding took place in Surrey and was a gorgeous intimate ceremony. They had personal vows they wrote themselves, which was just magical. After the ceremony, they were showered with confetti, and then we went and did some beautiful portraits.

Relaxed wedding reception

The wedding reception took place Millbridge Court in Surrey, which they’d decorated with fresh flowers. It was so personal.

It was a rainy day, which wasn’t in the plan but the couple didn’t mind. While the guests enjoyed canapes and cocktails, we wandered around the garden to take some dreamy portraits in the rain. My favourite photo from our couples session is the one where Beccy wears her colourful wellies.

During the wedding reception, they had a live singer and guitarist, which everyone loved. For dinner, they had a roast dinner, and it was delicious. After dinner there were a few speeches, then the party got started and the couple had their first dance.
