Anna and Michael got married at the Wood Farm Everdon Northampton wedding photographer. It was an awesome relaxed wedding, with so much fun everywhere. The couple met at a party and have been together for 5 years.
Getting ready
Anna got ready at home with her friends, and there was such an exciting vibe. She wore a lace dress and looked so incredible. The girls then took a drive to get to the church for the ceremony.
Michael got ready at the local pub with his mates. He wore a dark blu suit with a tie and looked really dapper.
Wood Farm Everdon wedding
The ceremony took place at the local church in Everdon. The wedding area was filled with flowers, which was so perfect. The ceremony began with Anna walking down the aisle. It was a moving ceremony, full of inspiring reading.
After the ceremony, we drove to the venue and we took some portrait photos, which is such a great time for the newly married couple to have some time to let it sink in. Then the couple mingled with their guests, which was the perfect time for me to get candid photos. I got some really fun guest photos as everyone was so chilled and loved having their photo taken – especially after a few gins! The weather was all sunshine and blue skies, it was a beautiful day.
The wedding reception
Anna and Michael chose to have their wedding at Wood Farm at Everdon because they loved the rustic vibe of the barn, and it’s so cosy and elegant. Wood Farm is an idyllic and exclusive wedding barn venue in the rural paradise of Northamptonshire, and it’s got such a lovely vibe, especially at sunset when the tide is out and the beach reflects the setting sun.
For the reception, the couple had planned live music and cocktails for their guests, and everyone had so much fun – the guests certainly made the most of the free bar! Everyone was then called in for the wedding breakfast, which was a pulled meat van. It was such a great idea. They had speeches during the courses, which were really touching – the dad made everyone cry!

After the meal was finished, they cut the cake, and the party kicked off. The live band played all the best songs to get everyone dancing.
The whole wedding was so much fun. One of the best parts of the wedding was dancing because everyone was pretty wasted.
The couple says that if you’re planning your wedding, the biggest piece of advice they could give you is not worried about the small things.
I loved this barn wedding so much. If you’re getting married and looking for a Northampton wedding photographer, get in touch. Here are the photos!
